Wear It Pink Day: A Brilliant Morning for a Great Cause

Danaher & Walsh employees came together for Wear It Pink Day on Friday 25 October to support Breast Cancer Now. The event helped raise awareness and vital funds for breast cancer research and care.
At Danaher & Walsh, supporting the community is an important part of who we are. Through fundraising, volunteering and awareness campaigns, our teams regularly get involved in causes that make a difference.
Supporting Breast Cancer Now
Head Office turned pink for the morning as colleagues wore bright outfits, brought in baked treats and joined in a charity quiz.
The event created a fun and positive atmosphere. More importantly, it brought everyone together in support of an important cause.
By taking part, colleagues helped raise awareness of breast cancer and supported the work of Breast Cancer Now.
Event Highlights
The morning included plenty of friendly competition, homemade bakes and team spirit.
Highlights included:
- Bake Off Winner: Karen Maher, for her showstopping creation
- Quiz Champion: Nick Hill, proving that knowledge really is power
- Total Raised: £88, all donated to Breast Cancer Now
Every contribution helped make the event a success. Whether colleagues baked, donated, wore pink or joined the quiz, each person played a part.
