We are proud to announce that Danaher & Walsh has been appointed to the £4.29bn National Framework for Civil Engineering, Infrastructure and Enabling Works 2026. Pagabo manages the framework on behalf of YPO.
The four-year framework is open to sectors including central and local government, the NHS, blue light services, housing and education. It complies with both the Procurement Act 2023 and the Procurement Regulations 2024. It connects public sector bodies with appointed contractors who deliver quality service and value for money.
Our appointment means public sector organisations across the East Midlands, West Midlands and East of England can now procure civil engineering work from us directly through the framework. This gives them a simpler, quicker route to working with us.
Sean McCallion, Operations Director at Danaher & Walsh, said:
“We are delighted to have been appointed to Pagabo’s National Framework for Civil Engineering, Infrastructure and Enabling Works. This is a real milestone for the business. It means public sector organisations can now procure work from us through Pagabo with confidence, knowing the route is compliant, transparent and efficient. We have built our reputation on quality, safety and strong working relationships. We look forward to bringing that same commitment to new and existing clients through the framework, and to delivering projects that make a lasting difference to the communities we serve.”
David Llewellyn, Construction and Infrastructure Director at Pagabo, said:
“The launch of the National Framework for Civil Engineering, Infrastructure and Enabling Works 2026 marks an important step in providing public sector organisations with access to a broad range of specialist expertise and delivery capability. The range of suppliers appointed have been rewarded based on evidence of their ability to collaboratively deliver high-quality infrastructure, civil engineering and enabling works projects across the UK. Through the procurement support that Pagabo provides, and the ambition proven by the appointed suppliers, the infrastructure sector is in safe hands.”

December was a month that truly showed the power of social value in construction at Danaher & Walsh Civil Engineering.
In our industry, we often talk about social value. We include it in proposals, build it into programmes and work hard to give back to the communities around us. However, sometimes social value happens naturally. During December, our teams showed exactly what the Danaher & Walsh difference means.
That difference is our people.
Supporting a Melton Mowbray Food Bank
Our Business Development Manager recently spoke to a neighbour who volunteers at a food bank near our Melton Mowbray site.
After hearing more about the support they needed, he decided to see what he could do to help. Within days, our client Galliford Try had joined the effort. Colleagues from Danaher & Walsh Head Office also got involved. As a result, just before Christmas, the team delivered bootloads of food to the Melton Mowbray food bank.
Watkin Road Bridge Team Donates Prize Money
Our Watkin Road Bridge team also made a generous contribution.
The team had an incredible year, winning multiple awards and achieving a near-perfect Considerate Constructors score. Because of this, they won Danaher & Walsh Team of the Month for December. The prize included £100 for the team to spend on bacon rolls or drinks after work.
Instead, they chose to donate the money to a food bank near their site in North Leicester. In recognition of this gesture, Dan Danaher doubled the value of the prize. Therefore, even more food was donated to support local people before Christmas.
Supporting Hope Against Cancer
Danaher & Walsh also raised money for our chosen charity, Hope Against Cancer. We raffled generous gifts donated by our suppliers, helping to raise additional funds for an important local cause.
We would like to thank everyone who donated prizes and supported the raffle.
A Life-Saving Response Near the River Soar
One act of kindness stood out as a powerful reminder of the people within our business. Danaher & Walsh was working with Keepmoat on a project near the River Soar. During December, team members saw a woman struggling in the river.
They acted quickly and used a ladder to help save her from drowning. In recognition of their actions, Danaher & Walsh has made a substantial donation to the Samaritans.
Restoring Faith in Human Nature
These acts of kindness remind us that social value is not only about targets, programmes or commitments.
It is also about people doing the right thing when it matters. From food bank donations to charity fundraising and life-saving action, December showed the care, generosity and character of the Danaher & Walsh team.
As we enter 2024, we wish you and yours a safe, happy, healthy and prosperous new year.
