A joint Danaher & Walsh / Anglian Water team attended Lincoln Group Training Association’s Construction Week event for young people to promote career opportunities in the water industry.

The event took place from the 30th September to the 2nd of October at the Lincolnshire Showground.

Pupils from schools across Lincolnshire visited the event, where they were able to learn about a wide range of trades and careers within the construction industry. As well as taking part in practical demonstrations, they were able to gain insight from industry professionals.

The Danaher & Walsh / Anglian Water team talked to youngsters about pipeline and sewer repairs and maintenance, and demonstrated a state-of-the-art vacuum excavation machine.

The LGTA is a not-for-profit association of around 60 construction companies located in Lincolnshire. It is funded by the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB), which is in turn funded by the Government levy on the construction industry.
