Danaher & Walsh has committed to Social Value, which we call ‘Engineered for Good’. We focus on the ten areas we believe we can make the biggest and best impact in the communities in which we work.

This case study is an example of our commitment to enhancing communities.

Enhancing Communities

Working alongside the team at Northampton BID (Business Improvement District), and other volunteers as part of the Great British Help Out, Danaher & Walsh helped to restore a Northampton town centre park in time for the King’s Coronation in the Summer of 2023.

We sited park benches, painted litter bins and created plinths and fixings for plaques and hanging baskets.

Early in 2024, the Business Improvement District was given permission to place three more benches in the park, so once again, Danaher & Walsh scanned the area and arranged the ground and fixing of the benches. Now, even more people can enjoy St Katherine’s Gardens in Northampton.
