Hatton Grange Roads & Sewers, Lincolnshire
Danaher & Walsh was contracted by housing developer Westleigh Developents to construct adoptable roads and sewers for their Hatton Grange site in Walton, Peterborough.
Project Overview
The site formerly housed a factory, from which the tower was retained and restored to provide a centrepiece for the estate.
The works package involved the installation of Section 104 adoptable foul and storm sewers. The foul sewers comprised traditional clay pipes and precast concrete manhole chambers whereas the storm sewers used Weholite HDPE pipes and glass-reinforced plastic manhole chamber.
The storm drainage installation also comprised a depression overflow chamber and a flow control unit. Roads for the estate were constructed for Section 38 local authority adoption.
Outcomes
We worked closely and the adopting authorities to deliver cost-effective infrastructure for the site further development and adoption.
