How to Opt Out of Data Collection, Use or Disclosure
In addition to the method described above, we provide the following specific opt-out method.
You can opt out of cookie collection through the cookie settings on our Site, provided by CookieYes, or by managing cookies through your browser.
Cookie Policy
A cookie is a small file stored on a user’s device by a website. Its purpose is to collect data relating to the user’s browsing habits.
You can choose to be notified each time a cookie is transmitted. You can also choose to disable cookies entirely in your internet browser. However, this may decrease the quality of your user experience.
We use CookieYes as our cookie consent management tool. When you first visit our Site, a cookie banner allows you to accept or decline non-essential cookies. You can change your choice at any time using the cookie settings on our Site.
Types of Cookies We Use
Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are essential for the Site to function correctly, including remembering your cookie consent choices. They do not require consent.
Functional Cookies
Functional cookies remember the selections you make on our Site, such as display preferences, so your selections are saved for your next visit.
Analytics Cookies
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our Site, for example which pages are viewed and how long visitors stay. This helps us improve the Site’s design and content. These cookies are only set with your consent.
Advertising Cookies
We use Google Ads and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel. These are in place so that, when we run a marketing campaign, we can measure its performance and show relevant adverts to people who have previously visited our Site when they use Google or Meta platforms such as Facebook and Instagram. These cookies are only set with your consent, and involve sharing data with Google LLC and Meta Platforms, Inc. for these purposes. You can withdraw consent at any time through our cookie settings.
The Data (Use and Access) Act 2025 introduced limited exemptions from consent for cookies used solely for website statistics or to remember site appearance preferences. Because our analytics tool operates alongside our advertising tools as part of one marketing setup, we do not rely on this exemption, and we continue to ask for your consent to all non-essential cookies through our cookie banner.
Modifications to this Privacy Policy
We may amend this Privacy Policy from time to time. This helps us maintain compliance with the law. It also allows us to reflect changes to our data collection process.
When we amend this Privacy Policy, we will update the Effective Date at the top of this Privacy Policy.
We recommend that users periodically review our Privacy Policy. This will help ensure they are notified of any updates.
If necessary, we may notify users by email of changes to this Privacy Policy.
Complaints
If you have complaints about how we process your personal data, please contact us using the details in the Contact Information section below.
We will acknowledge your complaint within 30 days and will work to resolve it without undue delay.
You also have the right to make a complaint directly to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK’s supervisory authority, without contacting us first, and at any stage if you remain unhappy with how we have handled your complaint.
