Loving every drop of success – Anglian Water Pipelining Award

Danaher & Walsh is very proud to be part of an Alliance of civil engineer pipeline contractors working on a 15-year framework for Anglian Water.

We work collaboratively 24/7/365 to protect and enhance our environment, by maintaining and enhancing our wastewater infrastructure, by deliberating delivering differently, for the benefit of all customers in the Anglian Water region.

Every year Anglian Water hold an awards ceremony to recognise the successes of the Alliance – particularly how we work together to enable Anglian Water to deliver their commitment to ‘love every drop’ which is expanded on in the business plan they have committed to via Ofwat.

Anglian Water is an incredible organisation to partner with.  They commit to their suppliers and work with them as one big team and these Awards are part of that.  By rewarding our performance and those of our peers, they encourage us to strive even harder to look after their customers, their communities, and the environment around them.

As part of the Integrated Maintenance and Repair (IMR) Water Repair (WR) Alliance, we were thrilled to be very successful at these Awards.

We won or were recognised in all five categories:-

  • Best Health & Safety – Marti Cooper and Yuri (Mini -Vac Ex)
  • Best Colleague – Danny Ellis
  • Best Team – Flow Monitor Team and delivery of this scheme of work.
  • Best New Way of Working – Drive reward and MAP 16 network tool
  • Best Scheme – IMR WR Lincolnshire (D&W & AW) – Tallington and Barholme, surface water infiltration reduction scheme.

We are very proud of our colleagues’ work on the Anglian Water framework and are proud to represent Anglian Water as part of the IMR WR Alliance.
