ICE Award Recognition for Watkin Road Bridge

Danaher & Walsh Civil Engineering is proud to announce that Watkin Road Bridge has received Highly Commended recognition at the ICE East Midlands Awards.

The project was recognised in the Project of the Year category. This achievement celebrates the engineering excellence, collaboration and technical delivery behind the Watkin Road Bridge scheme.

Recognised at the ICE East Midlands Awards

The Institute of Civil Engineers East Midlands Awards celebrate outstanding civil engineering projects across the region.

For Danaher & Walsh, this recognition is a proud moment. It highlights the quality of the finished scheme and the strength of the partnerships involved.

The award followed a joint submission between Danaher & Walsh and our design partner, BWB Consulting Engineers.

A Collaborative Project Team

Collaboration played an important role throughout the project.

Danaher & Walsh delivered the scheme for our client, Barratt Developments. BWB Consulting Engineers provided design expertise. Bentley Project Management also supported the project as cost consultant and project manager.

Together, the project team helped deliver a complex and high-quality bridge replacement scheme.
