Dan Danaher Takes on 360-Mile Cycle Challenge for Hope Against Cancer
Danaher & Walsh Managing Director Dan Danaher is taking on a 360-mile Hope Against Cancer cycle challenge to raise vital funds for the charity.
Dan will take part in Hope Against Cancer’s Tour de Hope 2022 event, known as The Wild Atlantic Challenge.
The route covers 360 miles around the Ring of Kerry in western Ireland.
Taking on The Wild Atlantic Challenge
The charity cycle ride will take place over four days from 16 September.
The challenge will test riders with a demanding route and ascents of up to 7,000 feet per day. As a result, the event will require strength, endurance and determination throughout.
Raising Funds for Hope Against Cancer
Dan previously took part in a similar cycling event in England in 2020. During that challenge, he raised more than £5,000 for Hope Against Cancer. This year, Dan hopes to match or beat that fundraising total.
Every donation will help support the charity’s important work in cancer research, treatment and prevention.
Supporting Local Cancer Research
Hope Against Cancer is a Leicestershire-based charity. The charity funds research into the early detection, treatment and prevention of cancer.
It also works closely with local universities and hospitals to support cutting-edge research. Through this work, Hope Against Cancer helps ensure Leicestershire remains a centre of expertise in cancer research and treatment.
Sponsor Dan
Danaher & Walsh is proud to support Dan as he takes on this demanding challenge. His efforts will help raise funds for a charity that makes a real difference to people affected by cancer.
