Ben Wins Apprenticeship Award on D&W Anglian Water Team
Danaher & Walsh is proud to announce that Ben Jacques-Ross has won an apprenticeship award at the Grimsby Institute Apprenticeship Awards 2022.
Ben is part of the Danaher & Walsh Anglian Water team. He joined D&W last year to work on the Anglian Water Water Recycling Network contract.
As part of his apprenticeship, Ben continues to attend Grimsby Institute on a day-release basis.
Recognising Apprentice Achievement
Ben won in the Groundworks category of the Work Based Trainer Awards.
Tutors at Grimsby Institute nominated him for the award. As a result, his hard work, commitment and progress have been recognised by the college.
The award is a fantastic achievement for Ben. It also reflects the importance of supporting early careers within civil engineering and utilities.
Celebrating National Apprenticeship Week
The annual awards took place during National Apprenticeship Week.
This nationwide event celebrates apprenticeships and raises awareness of the value they bring to both employers and trainees.
Lucy Ottewell-Key, Executive Director of Apprenticeships at Grimsby Institute, said the awards recognise “the accomplishments of our outstanding apprentices and the astounding support from our employers”.
Supporting Future Talent
Danaher & Walsh is proud to support apprentices across the business.
Apprenticeships help people gain practical skills, industry knowledge and real site experience. They also support future talent in key sectors such as civil engineering, groundworks and utilities.
Well done to Ben on this excellent achievement.
