Anglian Water Supplier of the Year Award for IMR Water Recycling Alliance

Danaher & Walsh Civil Engineering is proud to celebrate further success as part of the Integrated Maintenance and Repair Water Recycling Alliance.

The IMR Water Recycling Alliance won three awards at the National Anglian Water Awards ceremony, held on 22 June 2023. These awards recognise the hard work, collaboration and innovation delivered by the alliance across the Anglian Water region.

Supplier of the Year Award

Danaher & Walsh and the rest of the IMR Water Recycling Alliance were delighted to receive the Anglian Water Supplier of the Year award. This award recognises the alliance’s ongoing commitment to delivering safe, reliable and high-quality services for Anglian Water and its customers.

It also reflects the strength of the partnership between Anglian Water, Danaher & Walsh and the wider IMR Alliance team.

Collaboration Award

The alliance also received the Collaboration Award. This recognised the skills programme delivered with Grimsby College. The programme helps identify, promote and reward apprenticeship opportunities. It also supports the development of future talent within the water and civil engineering sectors.

The award recognised several collaborative initiatives, including:

• Pipes and fittings day
• Meet the employer
• Dedicated mentors
• Dedicated support teams

Together, these initiatives show the value of strong partnerships between employers, education providers and young people.

Digital Change and Transformation Award

The IMR Water Recycling Alliance also won the Digital Change and Transformation Award. This award recognised the alliance’s work on the digital MAP 16 platform.

The platform supports clearer visibility across working practices. As a result, teams can work more proactively to prevent pollution, reduce blockages and protect the environment. This digital approach helps improve service delivery for Anglian Water customers.
